#EasterMessage #Inspired #Jesus came to give us #life in spite of our circumstances

Hello Thank you for stopping by. I hope you had a lovely Easter with family and friends. This week’s post has been inspired by an Easter Sermon, link below & enjoy! We are all a product of our choices or choices of someone else …………………………………… The above words hit a raw nerve with me, my dysfunctional childhood has set off a chain reaction of consequential events that may not have happened had I not being born into this family. The reality is that I have and I need to work with what I got and not work with what I should have got. The truth is that we are all born into something that isn't quite desirable & it’s only when we come to the Lord we begin real healing & renewal of our minds. Jesus came so we can all have life, in spite of our circumstances. The word injustice echoed in my thoughts and I could really identified with the testimony of pain & despair in the ongoing abuse I suffered. I don’t think of the childhood mental and emotional ...

#MorningInspiration #NotetoSelf #Inspired by #TylerPerry #WordsofWisdom

Hello Thank you for stopping by. This week’s post has been inspired by Tyler Perry- Note to self, link below. It would resonate with anyone who has been brought up in brokenness, drama, dysfunction or strife. A beautiful message that gives hope - a better tomorrow is still to come, mess can be turned into a masterpiece through the grace of God- anything is possible. Tyler Perry (TP) - Note to Self ………………………………………………………………………………………………… I was deeply moved by the message because as you know my own journey isn’t too dissimilar to what TP described. I loved how he framed such a dire trauma and turn it into encouragement & inspiration for others, to never lose hope - better days are still ahead of you. He also added that each experience, good or bad will help to shape you in the person you are- you become better, tougher and use your experience in your work to uplift, encourage and inspire millions of people. TP faced many oppositions and he had every reason no...

Living your #dream #selfemployed to #entrepreneur #ThinkBig featuring #1pmlunch

Hello Thank you so much for stopping by- it’s very encouraging seeing my blog posts not only hit international shores but most of all- making a difference for those in search of meaning or just stuck in a rut due to circumstances. A couple of weeks ago, I joined in a live discussion via twitter hosted by @1pmlunch #1pmlunch. The talking point was - Is it better to be self-employed or employed? This prompted a lot of thoughts, since graduating 10 years ago.  I had a job mentality along with most of the population. Despite studying business, the idea of starting my own business sounded daunting & overwhelming, so much so I was paralysed by the fear of the unknown that I never entertained this idea as a possibility. This was until I met with a job that required a brutal level of conformity. The job was a perfect fit but the people and culture was anything but, my spirit was so beaten down by the dysfunction & drama I lose my living and become existing in a jo...

#NewBlogPost #Inspiring #Positive #Ideas- #GameChanger #Books to #Moments

Hello Thank you for stopping by at this week’s blog post, the support has been truly amazing and I am forever thankful for more that you can ever imagine. It’s been a tough road and in many ways it is still is but the response I get from my blog is feeding my motivation to turn this blog into a book. (I have shared some snippets in previous posts, drop me a line and let me know your thoughts). #NewBlogPost- as we are a quarter of a way into #2016-I thought it be a good idea to be in reflective mode…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….... I read that it’s important to celebrate the little milestones of achievements to motivate self to keep going & realise how far I have come in such a short space of time. It’s easy to dismiss the little progress, as they seem insignificant or small but without those tiny seeds of inspiration- it wouldn’t have added to a complete change in mindset. Change always starts with self before it can be materialise, as you can’t e...

#MorningInspiration #NewBlogPost #Inspired by #KarenBerg #Quote #WordsToLiveBy

Hello Thank you for stopping by-I hope you will enjoy this short read. This week’s post is based on the quote below, which I am sure many of you can relate to at some point in your life. Almost 18 months on from the ordeal that nearly broke my spirit for life. It has in fact being a blessing in disguise. I have found God, dealing with past issues & traumas. Opened new doors & feeling much more fulfilled in my work. More so, not having to be at the mercy, of some very questionable management styles. This is not to say that it justifies poor behaviour, such as exploiting authority or indeed supporting the unsavoury characters of societies. But it’s a way of being at peace with the past, which I think it’s incredibly important for your own well-being. Of course, going alone presents its own sets of issues but the real push through factor is that when you have no plan B, tried everything else it will for...
