#TDJakesShow #Forgiveness- Living Freely

Hello Thank you so much for stopping by at KIMI’s #blog- appreciated.  This week I have been hooked on the #TDJakesShow. It’s truly inspiration and a great movement towards living healthier, happier and more sustainable lives. I learnt so much and I applied some of the talking points to my own life.  When I came across forgiveness, generational bondage, feelings of despair I knew this programme will have a positive influence, for me to regain control, a sense of peace and wellness in healing the wounds of my pain. Forgive the Unforgivable:  3 men was wrongly imprisoned and collectively served 105 years. They all have an incredible amount of peace within them and moving forward in with their lives in a truly humbling manner. These guys quite literally gives forgiveness a whole new meaning. Below are some key points that resonated with me:  ‘Forgiveness is for yourself and not for others- it releases you from the situation and stops you being chai...

A short Journey to find eternal #freedom through #Jesus #forgiveness

Hello Hope you are all having a good week and thank you for stopping by @ThinkingKimi #blog. We live in a broken society and most of us would have been brought up into brokenness in some shape or form. If we put Jesus first we learn to live within an imperfect world, process the brokenness, keep in faith and learn to coexist in a peaceful and productive manner. I often feel inadequate as a parent and feel ill prepared for my role. I learnt to use my pain to inspire others in challenging times. Andrew Womack talks about we pray by faith not by sight, God hears and answers every pray it may not always be instant as God is spirit that lives in the supernatural realm, to bring our desires to pass he must move through people and things- we need to appreciate that these things takes time. Joel Osteen talks about living in faith and hope- even through the challenging times because that what will drive us through and what we go through, we grow through. It is in the book of proverbs 1...

Sneak Preview- KIMI's Novel Inspired by her own Trials and Tribulations

Hello Thank you for checking out my extra post this week- hope you enjoy it! The start of the novel has been inspired by my own story in how I coped during one of the most challenging periods of my life, in a series of journal entries. Working Title: This is a story is about a young women’s journey through life’s challenges and how positive thoughts helped to make better choices shaped the future……………………………determined not to be victim but be a survivor. A better life doesn’t happen by chance, it happens by change- Jim Rohn My whole world literally fell apart when my relationship ended, my home, my job and my livelihood- ultimately my family unit for my daughter. This journal tells the story of how I took control of a dire situation by changing my outlook. How you feel and think on the inside is reflected in your reality. I must not give up and believe a better tomorrow is coming because our thoughts turn into our reality. I was determined to bring up my daughter, ...

Reflecting on the last year also..................................................................

Good morning Thank you for picking up this week’s blog post-I really appreciate your support and hope my journey has been helpful to those who have been following. I will be taking a short break from blogging, until September 2015. This week I wanted to capsulize my last year, it has been a year of personal transformation beyond recognition for the most parts.  I would like to wish you all a very happy summer, 2015! I will be taking the opportunity to renew my mind, body, spirit and soul. I look forward to sharing some of my adventures with you next month.  Best wishes KIMI Almost a year ago, I was feeling lost and anxious about the future. Leaving the source of dysfunction provided some relief to my pain, it also drained the life out of me. I was left feeling frustrated that even though I left the place of despair, it still had a hold over me. I booked myself into therapy and I learnt that the mind goes through a healing process in acceptance and moving o...

Reflecting on 2015, the journey so far..........

Hello Thank you for reading KIMI’s blog, much appreciated. This week’s post has been a time of reflection. In 2015, my aim was to transform my mind, body and soul beyond recognition. I was fed up of going through the motions of existing and not living, achieving and thinking in lack and mediocrity-Joel Osteen. It was evident that my mind was cluttered with burden and it dragged me down, overtime it made me ineffective to do anything productive. It’s worth noting that clutter of any form is never associated with anything positive, if anything it’s a liability and a hindrance to progress. I want to share the following tune with you. I loved the simplicity, as it strips bear in the core spirit of the Lord Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit he can cleanse your mind, renew your soul and uplift the body through his unconditional love, you can overcome any challenge. I always feel the flow of peace and joy through the Holy Spirit. This means my state of mind is always ready for th...

My Journey with the Lord Jesus Christ

Hello  Thank you for taking the time to read this week’s blog post, it’s a real pleasure to be sharing my journey with you. Please connect with me on twitter @ThinkingKimi or visit my profile page on Google+, always love to hear from my readers. This is a particular poignant time, as this time last year I was in a rather challenging situation. I am so thankful that I managed to work through it. I have received healing through the Lord Jesus Christ, his unconditional love restores my faith in humanity and therefore provides healing and restoration through the flow of inner peace and stillness. Overtime this love is propelling me to new levels of existence, thinking in possibilities and abundance. Being stronger and bolder in fulfilling my purpose because the Lord Jesus Christ is my saviour, healer, strength and always guiding me through my spirit. This has provided me with a solid foundation to build my dream and vision for the future.  I started to recondition my ...
