Inspiration behind -Thinking KIMI: Bags For Life on the GO

I very much believe in the following quote ‘Your life doesn’t get better by chance, it gets better by change’ Jim Rohn. Everything that ever existing started as a thought in someone’s mind- unknown.  I wanted to live and breathe positive thinking throughout daily life, so what better product that to have mantra’s printed on bags, when you are on the GO.

The first launch will consists of 5 mantra bags. Below I have shared a short insight on how I came up with the quote, including the main source (s) of inspiration. Each mantra is printed cotton recyclable bags ready for the summer season- which is being launched on 28 June 2015 via eBay, please find us under thinking-kimi.

Bag One:

You are never limited by your circumstances, only by your #mindset

KIMI’s Thoughts:
This was inspired by ‘If you think better, you live better’-Joel Osteen. This was my main starting point in thinking myself out of the challenges I was under. Instead of thinking how bad my situation was I started thinking about what I can do and solutions soon followed.  Given how limiting my current physical circumstances are, I focused on my mindset which at the time was in line with my physical limitations. When I ponded on the literature I read, it became abundantly clear that if I was to carry on thinking in a limited way. I would carry on living in a limited world that I created in my mind. So from today onwards I vowed to think and live in a limitless environment.

Bag Two:

I will always chose to #livewell

KIMI’s Thoughts:
This mantra was inspired mainly by 2 quotes: Maya Angelou- ‘you may not control all the events that happens to you, you can decide how much not to be reduced by them’. Will Smith: Stop letting people who do so little for you control so much of your mind, feelings and emotions. I was fed up of getting similar results year after year. It became evident that I had allowed myself to be drawn into situations that drained far too much of my time and energy. I now refuse to be drawn into drama and dysfunction I want to focus on living a life of abundance and victory, regardless of what happens I will always chose to live well. My own definition of living well is to have a sense of inner peace- my actions will be driven by facts and not by emotions.

Bag Three:

#Knowledge is power - Read, Apply, Results

KIMI’s Thoughts:
Everything I learnt from my therapist to reading literature, which I have plugged the information into every area of my life. I don’t believe in half-hearted commitments as a result my mindset has grown into a different person and I am finally seeing myself in a much more positive light.

‘The wrong I AM can stagnate you, change the inside before you change on the outside and forgive yourself’ Joel Osteen.

I can relate to the above quote and I started to read daily affirmations -I am a worthy, strong and highly capable individual because if you don’t value yourself why should anyone else? In the past I did give the impression to potential employers that I was a lot of work, in actual fact I was more than capable but my limited self-belief painted a very different picture and that I accept, which is why knowledge is power because it’s a driver for change and a catalyst for doing better.

Bag Four:

Everything seems to fall into place when I practise #selflove #peace

KIMI’s Thoughts:
I was brought up in a dysfunctional environment and as a result self-love was never a part of my make up or to have inner peace. I have learnt by reading and applying new information I can be a master of my own environment, self-love is the cure to self-hate (Tyrese Gibson). By taking personal responsibility and control I would invariably create a better environment where I have the freedom to be and think = peace (Stephen Covey). Self-love is vital to build self-esteem and for you to know what your bottom line is? In other words what are your boundaries?   When you have clarity of what you are and not willing to tolerate you are less likely to put up with things that doesn’t add to your life because you know you deserve better #knowyourworth (Tyrese Gibson).

Bag Five:

KIMI stands for:

Keola (The life)
#Inspiration
Gives
#Motivation
Generates
#Ideas

KIMI’s Thoughts:
My trials and tribulations has inspired me to think and be in a different way that leads me to victory. I have created a platform namely KIMI to share my journey and how you can think your way out of a situation- inspired by Tyrese Gibson.

The KIMI acronym represents the ethos of how to think and achieve a more desirable outcome. By increasing your knowledge based, applying new information and through continuous commitment a better outcome will always be attainable. The law of physics / attraction is based on what you give out to the universe is what you get back so when you think and do positive things, you will get back positive outcomes (Rhonda Byrne).

Highly Effective People Strives For Excellence

Hello I hope you enjoyed the last 2 special blog posts about Parentalk and Abuse. I felt it was important for me to use this platform to raise awareness on topics that could make a positive impact on future generations. This week is back to talking about life, inspiration, motivation and ideas-this post was actually inspired by a rather dysfunctional event. Every day we have many distractions, which can keep us from our destiny if we chose to be consumed by it.  Our dreams has to be bigger than our current reality to cause us not to sweat the smaller stuff and that involves letting some things or people go. The difference between effective and not-effective people is how we chose to channel it. Below is how (after the initial annoyance) I done it. Just to put this into context- the individual(s) concerns were unable to take accountability for their actions / errors, instead what I observed was a misuse of power and the slow demise of an outdated organisation. A book review – Part One - Dealing with Disappointment by John Hindley

This book was a relatively easy read with the simple idea that leaves you to question: is life just one big disappointment?  In many ways it does seem so; the author delves into different areas of disappointment in our lives. I suspect most if not all are relatable to everyone. Firstly, the author says we actually should be disappointed by life, as things are not as good as they should be. We live in a frustrated and frustrating world; the frustration is because of the fallen world when sin entered humanity. We all carry this divinely inbuilt sense that the world should and could be better. The book goes on to say that on the other hand, we are sometimes too disappointed with life.  We expect satisfaction from other areas of lives to overcompensate for this.  When this satisfaction is denied, it starts an over-disappointed cycle. For example, I came across a thread where the mum wrote in and expressed disappointment in her children’s grades, which led her to ques...

A seemingly insignificant act has the potential to change the world...

I loved learning about the story of Reformation Day. The significance centres on how the Bible became accessible for everyone to read - historically the general public wasn’t allowed to read it, only priests or those considered anointed within the church were allowed to read it. The priests read the Bible in Latin, so for most people, it wasn’t even possible to read it. God’s word was entrusted into the hands of those in power, who were deemed qualified to understand it.  What the priests were teaching, was not actually in line with what the Bible said, as one monk, called Martin Luther found out. He started to read the Bible for himself out of pure frustration.  According to the teachings of the priests, believing in God seem to be just to be an endless set of rules and it left him feeling as if he could never be good enough for God. Little did he know at the time, he was about to birth a revolution that quite literally changed the world. This set him on a path of ...
