What is #Abuse? #Mental #Emotional #HealthyRelationships #Changing Perceptions #Wellbeing

Hello  This short blog post is a follow-on from the Easter message, in that Jesus came to earth to give us all life in spite of our circumstances.  Abuse has been a common recurring theme in my life- I felt compelled to share some of my thoughts, in hope to raise awareness on this subject.  Abuse as defined by: http://dictionary.cambridge.org/dictionary/english/abuse to use something for the wrong purpose in a way that is harmful or morally wrong: She is continually abusing her position/authority by getting other people to do things for her. Psychological and mental abuse is usually endured over a systematic & for prolonged periods. Hello Thank you as always for stopping by- this #newblogpost is to all parents- hope you find this helpful. Parentalk- Care for the Family Event Just over a month ago, I attended the above and I was keen to follow it up. I have noted previous courses/ talks took effort to apply. This was simply effortless and below I tell a short story why. The quote below is the inspiration behind this: ‘It’s hard to bring up a child, it’s even harder to fix a broken child’- unknown. Boundaries and Battles In the midst of our busy lives, following through consequences is actually a lot harder than one might think. For example, you may say no screen time and then you have the whining, whilst trying to get the tea on. Working out your bottom lines is key, for me it’s being disciplined with church and school life- this includes being consistent with bedtimes, work first then play, picking up after herself ….
