Morning Inspiration - A Pattern of Events with a Hidden Message

Hello Thank you for stopping by. I am always super thankful for everyone who takes the time to share and connect with me. A couple of weeks ago,  I received the following timely quote by @mrellison that shifted my thinking from obstacle to opportunity:  ‘If you keep noticing the same thing over & over again, pay attention to it. Signs are there as universal messages for you to receive.’ One issue that was particularly prevalent was dysfunction, despite limiting my contact with people it had a habit of reappearing in all forms. It would have been far too time consuming for me to respond and engage with each individual case.  I am also transferring the control over to the other party, which maybe short sighted of me.  In other words, given the quick succession of similar events how sustainable is it for me to ‘have a conversation(s)’ with every one of them? The impact may also be minimal, as people are usually on the defensive.  My belie...

Morning Inspiration - Facing The Biggest Trial Of My Faith

Hello Thank you for stopping by. This week’s post has been inspired by trials and tribulations that led me to feel defeated and deflated in my faith. I remembered that early on, my mentor taught me that the peace of God comes from the Word of God and not necessarily the people of God or just people. Less than 2 years into my faith, it was the first time I felt disconnected with the Word. I lost my momentum as I was overwhelmed with the sheer volume of dysfunctional people that I had the misfortune of encountering. My response is not necessarily God’s response and this conflict has given me a lot of stress. ‘When faced with senseless drama, spiteful criticisms and misguided opinions, walking away is the best way to stand up for yourself. To respond with anger is an endorsement of their attitude.’ Dodinsky. I loved the above quote that was sent me and the takeaway for today is definitely a case of ‘let your haters be your motivators’. When people hate on you it is ...

Morning Inspiration - Clearing The Path For Future Generations

Hello Thank you for stopping by at this week’s blog post. I hope this would be food for thought for those who had less than ideal upbringings to be eventually free of such pain. This is a letter to my childhood self to let go and not to transfer the pain onto another generation.   Pain is very much part of life, to co-exist in a broken world can be somewhat hard to bear. A stable childhood with love, peace and nurture no doubt gives all children a better fighting chance to succeed in life because a good and strong foundation can withhold and withstand adversities that can turn trials into triumph. The grit and tenacity built up over the years, gives resilience and strength to win the midst of adversity. This type of idyllic childhood can be something of a rarity as we all seem to be products of our environments. We may blame our parents but chances are they are also victims of their past. In reality most are brought up into messes and strife that exacerbates broken...

Morning Inspiration - Thursday's Thoughts- Inspiration Travels On The Go

Hello Thank you for stopping by at this week’s blog post, really appreciate the support.  Oops ! Wisdom Wednesday has turned into Wisdom Thursday! The week has ran away with me.  I am really big on inspiration because it uplifts the soul to see the light in every day. I recently wrote an article on the difference between living and existing. I think inspiration is the by-product of our ability to live a full life, learning and embracing new experiences breathes life into life. Be inspired my friends, if you want to widen your horizons to find your reason for living or purpose. You may have to venture out of your comfort zone, to truly realise the beauty of life. If you are finding life mundane and or a chore it won’t change, if you continue to do the very same things that makes you feel and think life is more of a burden than a blessing. Below I specifically chosen 4 photos with a hidden message, love to hear your interpretations. To follow our inspiratio...

Morning Inspiration - Light Party- Halloween Alternative- Celebrating the Light of the World- Jesus

Hello Thank you for stopping by at this week’s blog post. We had an amazing weekend embracing the Light of the World!  Just wanted to share 2 of  the highlights below: Monday 31 October 2016 – Celebrating the Light of the World (Halloween alternative) A Light Party is a celebration of Light - The Lord Jesus Christ. It was so uplifting, encouraging and inspiring to be embracing Light. Great food for the mind & soul as one might say. My local church wrote, 'Even in the darkness, there is hope! Jesus offers us the chance to cross over from darkness to light and from death to life, and to know his peace, love and forgiveness even in a dark world. The aim of the Light Party was to celebrate goodness, joy and fun-all gifts from our good God!' On the theme of Light, we also supported a world vision initiative called #CarveAHeart loved their motto:  'Turning a night of fear into a night of hope'.  ...
