#MorningInspiration #ThursdayThoughts #Inspiration #Journey - #Grateful #Thankful #Memories

Hello

Thank you as always for stopping by.

I am so sorry that this week’s blog is slightly later than usual. I have been so busy editing my book, it completely slipped my mind.

I hope you enjoyed the last 4 week’s special blog series- #SurvivorsMovement – it was deeply poignant because I think most could relate in some shape or form. We are all #survivors of something, in the words of Steve Harvey- we all have the same story, with different details.

This week I felt compelled to write about #inspiration, as I believe inspiration fuels desires to create a better future. For those who follow me or us I should say as my daughter is very much part of the creative process too. You will know that we are committed to living each day to its fullest.

Below are a few of my favourite memories- enjoy!

Local church Christmas party- It was transformed into a winter wonderland theme, the candles to me represented light-the gifts of Jesus Christ, the arch is the blessings of Christ, going through the door is stepping into the Kingdom of Light.

Women’s Ministry Event- The theme was #hope, we all go through valleys or trials visualising the corridor of hope, can help to keep everything in perspective.

My first time doing floristry with my survivors buddies, all these ladies inspires me every day with their stories.

I was deeply humbled by the kind hearted nature of this man, spreading peace and love through handmade rings for free. I will follow suit with my inspiration postcards- coming soon.

Inspiring the next generation has been a mission of mine, if you haven’t already noticed. I truly believe that there is greatness in every child, here I took my daughter to a local college to support the students in hairdressing. It was a fantastic opportunity to expose her to people who are passionate about their craft. Coming across quotes in the library was an added bonus to our visit.

A big thank you to all the readers! I am eternally grateful for the amazing love and support- Our first birthday was on the 4 June 2016, just under a week later it had over 6K hits. If it wasn’t for the readers I don’t think I would be penning #blog to #book. A big shout out to the following countries especially the #USA who have consistently been the biggest supporters!

#United States #UK #Germany #Ireland #Russia #Sweden #France #India #Portugal #Singapore #Kenya #Poland #Romania #SouthAfrica #Brazil #Denmark

Hope this will encourage you to have your own inspirational journey, or join forces with us details below.

Have a blessed week

KIMI

Highly Effective People Strives For Excellence

Hello I hope you enjoyed the last 2 special blog posts about Parentalk and Abuse. I felt it was important for me to use this platform to raise awareness on topics that could make a positive impact on future generations. This week is back to talking about life, inspiration, motivation and ideas-this post was actually inspired by a rather dysfunctional event. Every day we have many distractions, which can keep us from our destiny if we chose to be consumed by it.  Our dreams has to be bigger than our current reality to cause us not to sweat the smaller stuff and that involves letting some things or people go. The difference between effective and not-effective people is how we chose to channel it. Below is how (after the initial annoyance) I done it. Just to put this into context- the individual(s) concerns were unable to take accountability for their actions / errors, instead what I observed was a misuse of power and the slow demise of an outdated organisation. Enjoy...

A seemingly insignificant act has the potential to change the world...

I loved learning about the story of Reformation Day. The significance centres on how the Bible became accessible for everyone to read - historically the general public wasn’t allowed to read it, only priests or those considered anointed within the church were allowed to read it. The priests read the Bible in Latin, so for most people, it wasn’t even possible to read it. God’s word was entrusted into the hands of those in power, who were deemed qualified to understand it.  What the priests were teaching, was not actually in line with what the Bible said, as one monk, called Martin Luther found out. He started to read the Bible for himself out of pure frustration.  According to the teachings of the priests, believing in God seem to be just to be an endless set of rules and it left him feeling as if he could never be good enough for God. Little did he know at the time, he was about to birth a revolution that quite literally changed the world. This set him on a path of ...
