#BlogPost #Inspired by #HumantiesofNY #NYC #Story #NeverGiveUp - #Believe better days are ahead

Hello Thank you so much for supporting #KIMIBlog- we have over 4k hits- please continue to share & recommend us to reach more. Life is hard at the best of times, we firmly believe that if we have hope & faith that better days are in front of us, this is usually enough to restore the peace that we need to carry on & #NeverGiveUp. A story featured on #HumantiesOfNewYork caught my eye because it resonates not only on a personal level, I think many will also do. She was brought up in challenging circumstances & finding solitude in education & it become a coping mechanism sounded all too familiar. Regardless of the specific circumstances of each individual upbringing, if it was less than ideal in any shape or form it will inevitability leave an imprint on one’s life. We can only teach our children what we know, if this is less than adequate or not fit for purpose then to move forward one must think, it be a case of nature v nurture.  I had grown ...

The #Story of the Daffodil- #Forgiveness gives us our #peace back

Hello Thank you for stopping by at this week’s #BlogPost. Forgiveness has been a lot on my mind recently and I expressed my thoughts in a poem. It was inspired by the common theme I observed that the true cost of un-forgiveness, can cost the freedom of not just one self but for generations to come. The story of the daffodil………………………………………………………………………………………………………………… When sin entered the earth, it was inevitable that we would be enduring some sort of difficulties, challenges, pain & strife in the fallen world we live in-becoming a product of our environment. A cycle that seems to go on endlessly & mindlessly for generations to come.  How we describe the true meaning of life, is quite telling of the beliefs & values we were talked or observed during childhood. Our past does not determine our destiny, nor does it define us as human beings. The deep rooted held beliefs & values sets the foundation of our own meaning of life. When we learn to fo...

#KIMI #Preface to #SelfHelp #Personal #Journey #Inspiration #Book

Hello Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoy this short read. The response was amazing last week- it’s very encouraging, so this week I just wanted to share the draft preface to my book- how my book became into being. Always welcome your comments below. Have a blessed week ahead. KIMI X Preface to KIMI’s book…………………………………………………………… For those who have been following my blog, you will know that t his book was born from one of the toughest periods of my life, where I was physically, mentally & spiritually exhausted. In 2013 my professional life started to mirror the dysfunction, drama & strife filled circumstances that I tried so hard to escape. My response was similar- I didn’t have much of a voice I was suppressed by my environment. I lasted 12 months in the job that nearly killed my spirit for life, as each day passed a piece of my soul left.  When I was signed off work for a month, I knew it was a matter of when, not if, when I be ...

#NewBlogPost #Life creates #inspiration gives #motivation generates #ideas #KIMI's #DreamBigMovement #ThinkBigMovement #HarrietTubman #Quote

Hello Thank you for stopping by-I hope you will enjoy the short read. It’s the first February blog post, 2016 is truly well under way, it got me thinking of what my dream is or I should say our dream as my 9 year old daughter, Lola is very much part of the creative process. She recently said to me, why don’t you write a book on what KIMI stands for? I thought that it was a genius idea because it has great potential to tell the KIMI story. I thought the quote below fits my state of mind very well, it’s so inspiring & encouraging. The think big & dream big mentality is the current trend, if your dreams don’t scare you then they are not big enough- unknown. On that note it does, so much so it doesn’t seem real and very out of reach for someone like me. So I would more than welcome your thoughts on the concept for my book. What’s different about this book? I note that there are plenty of memoires & biography based books already talks about dysfun...
