#BlogPost #Inspired by #HumantiesofNY #NYC #Story #NeverGiveUp - #Believe better days are ahead

Hello

Thank you so much for supporting #KIMIBlog- we have over 4k hits- please continue to share & recommend us to reach more.

Life is hard at the best of times, we firmly believe that if we have hope & faith that better days are in front of us, this is usually enough to restore the peace that we need to carry on & #NeverGiveUp.

A story featured on #HumantiesOfNewYork caught my eye because it resonates not only on a personal level, I think many will also do. She was brought up in challenging circumstances & finding solitude in education & it become a coping mechanism sounded all too familiar.

Regardless of the specific circumstances of each individual upbringing, if it was less than ideal in any shape or form it will inevitability leave an imprint on one’s life. We can only teach our children what we know, if this is less than adequate or not fit for purpose then to move forward one must think, it be a case of nature v nurture.

I had grown to realize some harsh realities of life. We live in a fallen world & brokenness is an inevitable part of everyday life. Every family would have some sort of stronghold, some less evident & visible but it doesn’t mean it don’t exist. Accepting and learning to co-exist in a broken world can be very liberating. In most cases, it may start with healing past pain & traumas, forgiving self & others- letting go of the pain & start new ways of being. Otherwise the likelihood greatly increases in repeating those very cycles that brought us pain & discomfort.

How we define the meaning of life is truly telling on the beliefs & values that has taken root during childhood. To rewrite your destiny, we first has to go back to those very roots that taken us there in the place. A broken home can leave an immense void in someone’s life & that can turn us into something that we are not. This can make leading a productive & purposeful life somewhat challenging as we never get that sense of inner peace that enables us to enjoy & make the most of what life has to offer.
In my own walk with Christ, I have found the peace that allowed me to rewrite those roots, with the help of an entire new church family, I have never felt more loved & supported to lose those deep rooted scars of fear, un-forgiveness, anger, hatred, resentment & bitterness.

To close just wanted to leave you with a final thought- to rewrite your destiny, you first have to rewrite the history. Healing, forgiving & learning new ways of being that not only benefits self but for generations to come. When you find yourself, you will became the best version of yourself that was always meant. True success means living balanced in body, mind, spirit & soul. When you have inner peace, you will have clarity in knowing who you are & who you are becoming- the increase in self-belief will ride out the storms and marks the start of your very own success story.

**We all go through pain but we can chose to be productive with that pain **.

Have a blessed week.

Best wishes

Highly Effective People Strives For Excellence

Hello I hope you enjoyed the last 2 special blog posts about Parentalk and Abuse. I felt it was important for me to use this platform to raise awareness on topics that could make a positive impact on future generations. This week is back to talking about life, inspiration, motivation and ideas-this post was actually inspired by a rather dysfunctional event. Every day we have many distractions, which can keep us from our destiny if we chose to be consumed by it.  Our dreams has to be bigger than our current reality to cause us not to sweat the smaller stuff and that involves letting some things or people go. The difference between effective and not-effective people is how we chose to channel it. Below is how (after the initial annoyance) I done it. Just to put this into context- the individual(s) concerns were unable to take accountability for their actions / errors, instead what I observed was a misuse of power and the slow demise of an outdated organisation. Enjoy...

A book review – Part One - Dealing with Disappointment by John Hindley

This book was a relatively easy read with the simple idea that leaves you to question: is life just one big disappointment?  In many ways it does seem so; the author delves into different areas of disappointment in our lives. I suspect most if not all are relatable to everyone. Firstly, the author says we actually should be disappointed by life, as things are not as good as they should be. We live in a frustrated and frustrating world; the frustration is because of the fallen world when sin entered humanity. We all carry this divinely inbuilt sense that the world should and could be better. The book goes on to say that on the other hand, we are sometimes too disappointed with life.  We expect satisfaction from other areas of lives to overcompensate for this.  When this satisfaction is denied, it starts an over-disappointed cycle. For example, I came across a thread where the mum wrote in and expressed disappointment in her children’s grades, which led her to ques...

A seemingly insignificant act has the potential to change the world...

I loved learning about the story of Reformation Day. The significance centres on how the Bible became accessible for everyone to read - historically the general public wasn’t allowed to read it, only priests or those considered anointed within the church were allowed to read it. The priests read the Bible in Latin, so for most people, it wasn’t even possible to read it. God’s word was entrusted into the hands of those in power, who were deemed qualified to understand it.  What the priests were teaching, was not actually in line with what the Bible said, as one monk, called Martin Luther found out. He started to read the Bible for himself out of pure frustration.  According to the teachings of the priests, believing in God seem to be just to be an endless set of rules and it left him feeling as if he could never be good enough for God. Little did he know at the time, he was about to birth a revolution that quite literally changed the world. This set him on a path of ...
