Hi
Thanks for
stopping by as always.
This week’s #blogpost was inspired by the quote below
which resonated deeply, because within the last 7 years, I had left 2 highly toxic situations.
I am thankful every day that I live to tell the tale and in hope that it will
offer solace for others.
The human
mind is more comfortable with the uncomfortable than the unknown. I can relate
to this a lot because unsettling nature of, not knowing the where’s &
what’s. Hence many stay in dysfunctional situations, included myself but for my
own sanity I knew I had to walk away when my bottom line has disappeared. Having gone through the cycle
of suffering and surviving a few times over, the chain of events has taken me
outside of my comfort zone where I now wholeheartedly embrace change.
I have the
strength and wisdom to take hold of the situation before the situation takes
hold of me. Today’s scars are tomorrow’s strength. Many of us fall into
the trap of being co-dependent before we are independent hence the
likelihood of a vicious cycle & never realising the true power that we truly hold
over our destiny.
I hold on to
the belief that one day, I will achieve the #AmericanDream #DreamsIntoReality
of becoming a #NewYorkTimes bestseller author and speaker. Therefore I am
always forever grateful for all those who connects with me, on some kind of
level, which encourages and inspires me to pursue this. It is a real pleasure
and privilege to be touching base with likeminded people. In the words of #Oprah
surround yourself with people, who lifts you. By the power of technology and
God’s divine connection this has been made possible, so a massive thank you to
everybody who sends their love. I read every comment and acknowledge every shout out because it wouldn't be the blog that it is today.
